Vision for Success: Why Is The "Mindset Thing" So Important for Financial Success?

"Why can't I just skip over that vision for success part and get on the road to success?"
You've heard it before... you need to have a real "vision for success" before you're actually on that road to success. But why? How come we just can't skip ahead to the real meat and potatoes and leave those vegetables behind?
Imagine getting into your car for a road trip:
In scenario 'A', you don't know where you're going...
And in scenario 'B', you make a clear decision to go do Disney World.
What do you think the chances are in the first scenario that you'd end up in a really cool place? What did you do in the second scenario to make a difference?
You have to plan to go to Disney World; you know what time you're going to leave, how long it will take to get there, and where you will stay on-site so you can get as much good quality fun time as possible once you're there.
But suppose you just "thought about" driving in that general vicinity with no real plan of action? Think you'd get there? Not likely. And, even if you did, you're not likely to be organized enough to be able to enjoy your stay.
You need that vision for success before you make your plan...
And, having no plan is the same as planning to fail. Ask any great entrepreneur or inventor, and they'll tell you about their success vision in their mind before ever taking the first step.
I almost lost my actual vision before realizing the power of the vision for success in my mind...
It really happened! One day I woke up half blind in one eye. In fact, my vision is still blurred at the time I'm writing this. Not realizing how important it is to get to the doctor right away for a retinal detachment, I was told that if I had waited very much longer, that I could have gone completely blind! But I think we can all learn to communicate with ourselves in a way that we can turn our tragedies into triumphs...
Why am I telling you this? Why would you give a rat's ass about someone you don't know? Because it brought to mind that having clear vision physically in order to see for functioning in activities of daily living is no more important than having a clear vision for success mentally for where my life is headed. And, that's all of us!
A vision for success means you need to be clear in your mind...
Clarity is power, and power is money. Once you get that clear picture, you can begin to take massive action to achieve your goal. But how in the heck can you achieve your goal when you don't even know what your goal is?
Sometimes it helps to witness the success of others so you can get a really clear vision for success in your mind. Clarity is your first step towards financial success... so start today!
